Our complete candle making kit is a fun activity for adults and children alike. Complete with everything you will need to make your very own candle.
Complete with:
- 240g premium soy wax
- 1 x wick with adhesive
- 1 x icypole stick
- 1 x bottle of fragrance of your choice
- 1 x opaque white candle glass
- 1 x wooden lid
Directions are as follows:
PREPARATION
Remove the wick, icypole stick and bottle of fragrance from the pouch of wax. Stick the wick in the centre of the base and press firmly. Thread the wick through the hole in the icypole stick, then sit the stick on the rim of the jar to keep the wick centred.
MELTING
1. Place the pouch in the microwave and heat until all wax beads are fully melted
1000W Microwaves: Full power for 2 minutes*
For different powered microwaves, adjust heating time according to the manufacturer's instructions. If the wax is not fully melted, reheat for intervals of 10 seconds until it is fully melted
2. Remove the pouch from the microwave. Gently tip the pouch from side to side to ensure all wax beads are captured in the melted wax. Allow to stand for 2 - 3 minutes to achieve an ideal temperature of 60°C.
3. Carefully open the pouch and pour in the contents of your fragrance bottle. Reseal the pouch and gently shake to ensure the wax and fragrance are mixed thouroughly.
4. Slowly pour contents into your prepared container leaving approx. 1-2cm from the top.
Leave the candle to set for a minimum of 24 hours.
CAUTION: CONTENTS WILL BE HOT
