Paint ingredients: Glycerin, Polysorbate 80, Mica & Kaolin clay
Bath bomb ingredients: Sodium bicarbonate, citric acid, white kaolin clay, SLSA, fractionated coconut oil, polysorbate 80, creme of tartare, fragrance oil, cosmetic colourants.
GETTING STARTED
1. STIR IT UP: Over time, the rich pigments naturally settle. Use a toothpick, cotton bud, or the back of your brush to give each paint pot a quick stir until it is smooth and creamy.
2. PREP YOUR BRUSH: Start with a completely dry paintbrush. Do not dip your brush in water, as water will cause your bath bombs to start fizzing early!
PAINTING TIPS
LESS IS MORE: Dip just the tip of your brush into the paint. Wipe away any excess on the edge.
PAINT IN THIN LAYERS: Light, smooth strokes work best. Because this paint is thick, a little goes a long way.
DETAIL WORK: Use a fine brush for outlines and small details. Avoid flooding crevices with too much paint.
DRYING & STORAGE
LET IT SET: Place your painted bath bombs in a dry, safe spot. The paint dries by naturally absorbing into the bath bomb. It will be dry to the touch in 12 to 24 hours.
CLEAN UP: Wash your paintbrushes easily with warm water and a little dish soap. Keep your paint pots tightly snapped shut when not in use.
IN THE TUB
Watch your custom creation fizz! Our special paint formula contains a built-in rinse aid (Polysorbate 80) to ensure the colors mix beautifully into the water and drain away completely cleanly, without staining the tub.
